Forum: GratefulDead Subject: Two Questions

Greetings archive,

Hopefully I can get some Help on the way to a couple of questions

1) Is there a site I can go to that is a "deadbase" of sorts to Jerry"s work outside the G.D. i.e. show dates and more importantly setlist, I know the man left behind a huge body of work so I'm not needing a miricle just some basic info on where to search( I,m trying to put together a libary collection of Jerry shows that will reflect his musical diversity)

2) Can someone help me w/ 1982 G,D. shows, my god man there are at least six dozen (more?) shows to choose. So now I'm working w/ 82 and was wondering if anyone would help narrow my choices. If anyone has a fvorite from that year or a paticular memory that stands out from 82 please share Thanx agian

wow! I'm surprised you didn't know those two. And to think, sometimes I feel I only know the obvious ones unlike some of the folks around here.Check em out, a PRIME example of the AUD being better than the SBD no doubt about it

Be sure to get yourself JGB from the Saddlerack 3/7/1982 for some seriously great jams.

As for 1982 GD:

The Frost run is sweet:

IMO '81-'83 is vastly underrated.

In addition to the phenomenal 10-9 & 10-10 shows, check out the Red Rocks run, all 3 shows have a lot to offer. The Santa Fe Downs show is a standout as well.

Here are a couple of other favorites from '82 for your consideration.

These two shows are standouts because of the guest artists. Both feature a blues set.

5-28 features Boz Scaggs and john Cippolina

12-31 features Etta James and Tower Of Power
